Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at the MetroHealth Main Campus. You will provide direct patient care, monitor complex patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a 14-bed unit.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within specified timelines, and at least 1 year of RN experience for PRN shifts. Rotating weekends and holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, nurse interns, providers, PT, OT.
• Utilize advanced nursing skills for patient monitoring and interventions.
