MetroHealth seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at MetroHealth Main Campus. The role emphasizes patient monitoring, telemetry, and bedside procedures within a high-acuity environment.

The position requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and at least 1 year of RN experience for PRN shifts. Team collaboration with PCNAs, interns, and providers is essential for quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on 7 West Critical Care Step Down.
• Monitor and interprete telemetry and vitals.
• Assist with bedside procedures as needed (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, OT.
