Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus – Glick is seeking an experienced RN to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. The role focuses on high-acuity patient care, telemetry monitoring, and bedside procedures in a fast-paced trauma-centered system.

Candidates must hold Ohio RN licensure with BLS and ACLS certifications and have 1 year of RN experience for PRN positions. The unit has 14 beds and rotating shifts with weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current Ohio RN licensure
• BLS certification (AHA) or obtained within 90 days of hire
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West.
• Perform EKG interpretation and monitor telemetry.
• Care for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA and Sepsis.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) and ventilator management.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT and OT.
