Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a registered nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at the Main Campus - Glick location in Northeast Ohio. The role involves rotating shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a) with weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule, caring for patients via telemetry, central line care, and advanced airway support.

Requirements include Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 1 year of RN experience for PRN. BSN and Magnet-certification are preferred. Full benefits available.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, OT.
Monitor patients with telemetry; assist with bedside procedures as needed.
