Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at MetroHealth Main Campus. You will deliver patient-centered care in a high-acuity 14-bed unit, performing bedside procedures, central line care, and advanced respiratory support as needed.

Qualified candidates will hold Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and demonstrate critical thinking and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (state licensure required).
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire for some shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the 14-bed Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Perform and assist with bedside procedures and monitor patients using telemetry.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, and other disciplines to ensure safe patient care.
