Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a registered nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West at our Main Campus. You will provide direct patient care on a 14-bed unit, monitor telemetry, and assist with procedures and airway management in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, teamwork, and precise time management. Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and relevant experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification, ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.
• All required certifications must be obtained by hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West.
• Perform EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring.
• Assist with bedside procedures and airway management (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, nurse interns, providers, and therapy teams.
