Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at its Main Campus. The role supports patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA and sepsis, using enhanced telemetry and bedside care in a 14-bed unit.

You will work with PCNAs, interns and providers in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, with rotating shifts 7a–7p and 7p–7a and rotating weekends/holidays. Ohio licensure and BLS/ACLS requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or a program seeking accreditation.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare providers within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.
