Job summary

MetroHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 7 West Critical Care Step-Down Unit at our Main Campus. You will provide direct patient care on a 14-bed unit, monitor telemetry, interpret EKGs, and support bedside procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Rotating shifts (7a–7p and 7p–7a) with weekends and holidays rotation, require Ohio RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and professional collaboration with the care team. MetroHealth offers tuition reimbursement and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Current BLS certification or within 90 days.
• ACLS certification or within 6 months.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the 14-bed Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West.
• Perform bedside procedures and assist with endoscopies/bronchoscopies.
• Interpret EKGs and monitor patients with telemetry.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT, OT.
• Ensure patient safety and quality care during rotating shifts.
