Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at the Main Campus in Cleveland. You will deliver patient-centered care in a high-acuity environment, manage telemetry, and support bedside procedures such as endoscopies and bronchoscopies.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS (within 6 months if not current), and at least 1 year of RN experience for PRN. MetroHealth offers competitive benefits and opportunities for certification incentives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) with 14 beds.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) and complex monitoring.
• Utilize EKG interpretation and central line care in daily rounds.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management within a fast-paced environment.
