Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at the MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick. The unit features 14 beds and rotating shifts including nights, with biweekly hours totaling 72.00.

You will provide high-acuity nursing care, perform bedside procedures, monitor patients with telemetry, and collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT and OT. Ohio RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct RN care on the 7 West Critical Care Step Down Unit.
• Interpret EKGs, manage central lines, and monitor telemetry.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT, and OT.
