Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Unit Coordinator to provide administrative support for clinical services and oversee patient registration, insurance verification, and scheduling. You will coordinate with the clinical staff to ensure efficient unit functioning and accurate electronic health records, supporting timely discharges and inter-facility transfers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of exceptional service/customer service-oriented work experience.
• 3 years of clerical experience.
• Current Notary or ability to become a notary within 90 days.
• Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.

Responsibilities

• Register individuals for services including Medicaid eligibility verification and scheduling.
• Collaborate with clinical team and communicate concerns to appropriate discipline.
• Greet visitors and manage security and visitor badges.
• Oversee electronic health record accuracy and patient discharge coordination.
• Obtain clinical records and coordinate with physicians and nurses.
