Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of exceptional service/customer service-oriented work experience.
• 3 years of clerical experience.
• Current Notary or ability to become a notary within the first 90 days.
• Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.

Responsibilities

• Registers individuals for services, including Medicaid eligibility verification and scheduling appointments.
• Works with the clinical team and communicates concerns regarding patient presentation to the appropriate discipline.
• Greets visitors and maintains security including visitor badges.
• Oversee electronic health record episodes of care and coordinate discharge with other facilities.
• Obtain clinical records, communicate with physicians and staff, and coordinate transfers.
• Coordinate meals, equipment and supplies for daily unit needs.
• Provide welcoming customer service and support to families, visitors, and vendors.
• Answer calls, provide information, and take messages as needed.
• Complete required training and maintain competencies.
• Coordinate civil commitment processes with stakeholders and notarize petitions.
