Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Unit Coordinator to provide administrative and clerical support for clinical services. You will oversee registrations, verify Medicaid eligibility, enroll patients, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth unit operation.

You’ll greet visitors, manage security, and maintain accurate electronic health records while coordinating discharges and communicating with physicians, nurses and other providers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of exceptional customer service experience.
• 3 years of clerical experience.
• Current Notary or ability to become one within 90 days.
• Ability to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.

Responsibilities

• Register individuals for services, verify Medicaid eligibility and enrollments.
• Coordinate with clinical staff and communicate concerns about patient presentation.
• Greet visitors, manage security and issue badges.
• Oversee electronic health record entries and discharge coordination.
• Obtain clinical records and relay information to care teams.
• Coordinate meals, equipment, and unit supplies necessary for daily activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and serve as a resource for families and vendors.
• Answer calls, provide information, transfer messages as needed.
• Complete trainings, attend meetings and maintain competencies.
• Coordinate civil commitment processes with stakeholders.
