Job summary

People Incorporated Mental Health Services in Minneapolis is seeking a Program Coordinator to join our Crisis/IRTS team. The role serves as a key contact for clients seeking services, helps with insurance access, coordinates scheduling, and supports discharge planning aligned with client goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating services, arranging telehealth visits with partners, and preparing treatment plans while ensuring timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field or 30 semester hours/45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences with practicum/ internship; 2,000 hours of supervised experience in mental illness or related fields; training on de-escalation and psychotropic medications.

Responsibilities

• Use person-centered principles and engage clients in recovery.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation.
• Coordinate services and set up telehealth visits.
• Assist with scheduling medical/mental health appointments and admissions.
• Prepare and maintain treatment plans and discharge planning.
