Job summary

People Incorporated Mental Health Services seeks a Program Coordinator for our Crisis/IRTS team in Minneapolis. You will be the main contact helping clients access mental health services, benefits, and community resources, while delivering individualized treatment planning and discharge planning aligned with client goals.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, scheduling telehealth, coordinating treatment plans, and ensuring timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 30 sem./45 quarter hours in behavioral science with practicum/internship.
• 2,000 hours of supervised behavioral health delivery experience.
• Training on mental illness de‑escalation techniques, co‑occurring disorders, and psychotropic medications.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients using person-centered approaches to support recovery.
• Provide crisis intervention and de‑escalation to ensure safety.
• Coordinate services with other providers and assist with eligibility and access to benefits.
• Conduct scheduling and coordination of medical/mental health appointments.
• Complete admissions documentation and orient new clients.
