Job summary

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is hiring full-time Treatment Counselors for the Crisis/IRTS team in Minneapolis, MN. The position offers an evening rotating schedule with a 0.9 FTE and a competitive hourly rate of $24.20 to $26.14, plus a $1000 external hire bonus.

Responsibilities include engaging clients in recovery, creating treatment plans, providing crisis intervention, and ensuring client and program safety. Some travel between locations may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field.
Graduate-level behavioral sciences study is preferred.
Graduate practicum/internship focusing on behavioral health required.
First Aid and CPR certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

Engage clients in recovery using person-centered approaches.
Develop and monitor assessments and treatment plans.
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
Assist with client intake, orientation, and paperwork.
Travel between locations to support staffing needs.
