Job summary
People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking full-time Treatment Counselors to join our Crisis/ IRTS team. The role provides direct intensive residential treatment and crisis stabilization services in a recovery-focused environment.
You will engage clients with person-centered care, perform assessments and treatment planning, and deliver crisis intervention while ensuring safety. Schedule includes evening shifts and weekend work in Minnesota, with potential travel between locations as
Qualifications
- Experience in mental health services preferred.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Engage clients in their mental health recovery using person-centered principles.
- Demonstrate clinical knowledge related to goals, treatment plans, and diagnoses.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation to ensure safety.
- Develop assessments and plan-of-care reviews, and assist with discharge planning.
- Prepare intake and admission paperwork and provide program orientation.
- Support medication administration per organization policies, if applicable.
- May travel between locations to assist with staffing needs.
