Job summary

EMPACT-SPC in Arizona is seeking a DCS Crisis Specialist to join the Crisis Stabilization Team. You will provide direct crisis intervention in home, school, and community settings for children and families involved with DCS, coordinating care with Behavioral Health providers, Juvenile Probation, schools, and other agencies.

This full-time role requires a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work (or equivalents) and strong de-escalation, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Degrees in psychology, counseling, social work or related field required.
• Experience with behavioral health work preferred or required per pathway.
• Healthcare documentation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis services in home, in-office, in school and community settings.
• Coordinate care with Behavioral Health providers, Juvenile Probation, schools and other agencies.
• Maintain client records in accordance with agency policies.
• Ensure quality service delivery and documentation.
• De-escalate crises and support high-risk clients.
