Job summary

EMPACT-SPC, part of La Frontera family, seeks Crisis Specialists for Glendale and Tempe, AZ. You will respond to crisis calls, perform interventions, case management and coordinate care with first responders. Four 10-hour shifts per week, with day, weekend and evening options.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field and 1 year of Behavioral Health experience; bilingual Spanish/English is preferred. Paid time off, medical and retirement options are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in psychology, counseling, social work or a directly related field plus 1 yr of Behavioral Health experience
• Experience in Crisis Services, Outpatient Services or Community Outreach is preferred
• Spanish/English bilingual preferred with differential pay per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide direct crisis services in home, office, school or community settings
• Coordinate care and communicate with other departments for continuity of care
• Ensure quality service delivery and maintain client records
• Oversee department vehicles and report incidents
• Work overtime as needed during crisis situations
