Job summary

La Frontera EMPACT - Suicide Prevention Center is seeking a Children’s Urgent Response Specialist to provide direct crisis intervention across home, school, and community settings from our Tempe or Glendale offices.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, experience in community behavioral health, and (preferred) a Bachelor's in a behavioral field. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; key responsibilities include care coordination and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED; BHT requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in behavioral field preferred.
• Experience in community behavioral health required.
• Five (5) years of prior behavioral health related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of AZ Children's Behavioral Health System.
• Fluent in English; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Valid AZ driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Fingerprint clearance card or eligibility to obtain one.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct crisis services in home, in-office, in school and community.
• Coordinate care with Behavioral Health providers and schools for continuity of care.
• Maintain client records per agency policies and procedures.
• Develop working relationships with related state and community organizations.
• Follow agency standards of care and assist with quality management.
• Oversee day-to-day department vehicle functions and report incidents.
