Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Call Center Clinician to provide critical telephone screening and intake functions for individuals in psychiatric crisis. This part-time, per diem position involves working as part of the Boston Emergency Services Team, ensuring proper resource information transfer and facilitating the admission process for patients.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's Degree in a relevant field and have experience in emergency psychiatry. Strong interpersonal, documentation skills, and proficiency in software programs are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, education, counseling, or a related field is required.
• LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC license preferred.
• Previous field experience in emergency psychiatry-related clinical activities is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide telephone screening for individuals experiencing psychiatric crisis.
• Identify appropriate inpatient settings for patients requiring admission.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all cases.
