Job summary

BMCHS's Boston Emergency Services Team seeks a part-time Call Center Clinician to perform telephone screening, intake, and triage for individuals in crisis. You will provide crisis intervention and stabilization and refer to appropriate services.

Based in Psychiatry, the role requires a Master's degree, licensure preferred (LCSW/LICSW/LMHC), and strong communication, cultural sensitivity, and familiarity with EMR systems. This position is on-site in Boston.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, education, counseling, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone triage for individuals in psychiatric crisis.
• Perform intake screening and stabilization.
• Refer to appropriate community resources and sources of care.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with patients and staff.
