Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Rental Credit Specialist to analyze creditworthiness across Rental, National Rental and FMG groups. You will provide credit recommendations to local management to support sales while mitigating risk.

The role requires 2+ years in commercial credit and a Bachelor's in business/finance or 3 years of equivalent experience; strong financial analysis and communication skills are essential. Travel is 1-10%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or 3 years equivalent business work experience.
Two (2) years or more experience in commercial credit.
Two (2) years or more experience in financial statement analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

Review credit requests and determine appropriate credit lines for new and existing customers.
Assist lease analyst with initial review of lease assignments and gathering Ryder docs.
Review credit reports and financial statements.
Communicate risk and action plans to stop loss, collections, sales and operations.
Verify critical documentation and security from customers.
Support daily with Credit Hold Mailbox and ad hoc tasks.
