Job summary

Michaels is seeking an Events Coordinator in our Philadelphia, PA store to plan, coordinate, and facilitate events including kids birthdays, classes, and workshops. You will provide friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure fast, friendly checkout experiences while handling event logistics and in-store operations.

You will engage with guests of all ages, demonstrate crafts, manage add-ons like goody bags and balloons, and communicate clearly with clients and team

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes.
• Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft activities and face painting.
• Coordinate party add-ons (goody bags, balloons) to company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members; handle emails and calls.
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and store recovery duties as needed.
• Adjust plans based on client feedback and ensure client satisfaction.
