Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an energetic Events Coordinator at our Warrington, PA location. You will plan and run events like children’s birthday parties inside the Michaels store, ensuring a fun, engaging environment and smooth checkout experiences for customers.

You will also assist with crafting classes, customer service, and store operations while upholding safety and cleanliness standards. Experience with children’s events and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Retail and/or customer service experience required.
Energetic and enthusiastic personality.
Must have excellent people skills.
Must have experience working with children and children’s events.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun and creative environment.
Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects; perform face painting and activities.
Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards.
Communicate events with clients and store team members; complete administrative tasks.
Support store operations including truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties.
