Job summary

You will formulate preliminary space plans, select finishes, coordinate with design professionals, and prepare contract documentation to aid pricing and installation. The role requires attention to safety, aesthetics, and functional requirements across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Architecture or Interior Design or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of 1+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or REVIT and Architectural Desktop.
• Ability to read and review construction documents and provide sign-off/approval.
• Understanding of design/construction technical aspects (low voltage, materials, budgets, constructability, HVAC/electrical).
• Familiarity with the five phases of an interior/architectural project.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Formulate preliminary space plans and sketches integrating client needs.
• Confirm space plans meet safety, functionality, aesthetics, and health requirements.
• Select colors, materials, finishes to convey concept and lifecycle performance.
• Specify furniture, fixtures, millwork, and provide contract documentation for pricing, procurement, and installation.
• Coordinate with allied design professionals and consultants.
• Ensure construction documents for non-structural/seismic work are signed and sealed as required.
• Assist with contract documents administration, bids, and negotiations.
• Provide reporting on project implementation during and after completion.
