Job summary

Southway Crane & Rigging, LLC in Birmingham, AL, is seeking an experienced full-time Sales Representative to manage a dedicated sales territory and grow our customer base for crane and rigging services.

You will develop new accounts, sustain current clients, prepare quotes, read load charts, and coordinate with dispatch. Overnight travel is required; local candidates only. Our team offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including health benefits and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; college/technical degree preferred.
• 3–7 years of commercial construction sales experience.
• 3–7 years of crane operations and rigging experience.
• Determine appropriate crane for tasks and prepare quotes with dispatch.
• Must conduct responsibilities safely, legally and ethically.

Responsibilities

• Attain territory sales objectives through planning and development.
• Establish a client base supporting a $2+ million per year revenue stream.
• Perform personal and telephone sales in assigned territory.
• Prepare quotes and coordinate with Dispatch.
• Read load charts to verify crane capabilities for lifts.
• Communicate safety issues to Customers and internal staff.
• Submit reports and maintain required paperwork on time.
• Maintain insurable driving record and required licenses.
