Job summary

Southway Crane & Rigging, LLC. in Chattanooga/Ringgold is seeking a full-time Sales Representative to manage current accounts and develop new business for commercial crane and rigging services.

You will represent SWY and its family of companies to obtain orders while building long-term relationships in the construction sector. The role requires 3–7 years in commercial construction sales, crane operations experience, and the ability to read load charts and prepare quotes.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in commercial construction
• Experience in crane operations and rigging preferred
• Ability to develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue targets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Overnight travel required

Responsibilities

• Attains territory sales objectives through planning and development
• Establish a client base to support a $2+ million/year revenue stream
• Solicit new business and maintain existing client relationships
• Prepare quotes and coordinate with Dispatch
• Read crane load charts to determine suitability for lifts
• Provide safety communications to customers and staff
• Submit reports on sales activity and performance
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies
• Close sales and manage deadlines
• Handle multiple accounts with prioritized workload
• Manage exclusive accounts and develop account strategies
• Other duties as required
