Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking an experienced sales professional to uncover customer needs and deliver tailored crane, rigging, and heavy transportation solutions across industrial markets. You will build strategies, qualify leads, and coordinate with dispatch and project management.

The role emphasizes a proven sales track record, strong communication, and mechanical aptitude to translate customer challenges into winning, value-based proposals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Two to three years in industrial sales, construction or professional services.
• Proven track record of prospecting new business and closing profitable work.
• Excellent oral and written communication with all levels from field to executives.
• Mechanically inclined with success in rigging, lifting, fabrication, maintenance, or transportation execution.
• Experience with CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to penetrate and develop key accounts.
• Create and execute an annual sales plan with defined goals.
• Prospect and qualify warm leads.
• Conduct discovery meetings to uncover customer needs.
• Determine crane and rigging solutions.
• Develop tailored proposals and winning estimates.
• Win work by selling value and overcoming objections.
• Coordinate projects with Dispatch and Project Management.
