Job summary

Michaels in Bloomington, MN is seeking an Events Coordinator to plan and run in-store events, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes. You will engage customers, guide activities, and ensure a friendly checkout flow while maintaining store standards and safety.

The role involves coordinating event logistics, upselling Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments, and supporting omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS. Retail experience preferred.

• Instruct participants in craft projects and lead activities.
• Coordinate add-ons like goody bags and balloons per company standards.
• Assist customers, answer emails, calls, and perform paperwork as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; support SOPs and policy compliance.
