Michaels Stores in MSP-BLOOMINGTON, MN is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to plan, coordinate and facilitate in-store events including kids birthday parties. You’ll deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers, and ensure fast, friendly checkout while upholding store standards.

You’ll manage multiple events, engage guests of all ages, run activities such as face painting, and handle prep, cleanup, and safety for a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly customer service in a retail environment.
• Experience planning and coordinating events, especially for kids.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to listen and respond to guests.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events in-store, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes.
