Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in California is seeking a Market Development Representative to grow sales and market share across assigned accounts, focusing on retail execution, product distribution, displays, and promotions.

The role emphasizes 90% retail activity to drive brand presence and growth. You will call on existing accounts, identify new opportunities, ensure compelling merchandising, and coordinate events and promotions to boost visibility and volume while aligning with brand standards

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required depending on experience.
• 2 years of B2B sales experience preferred, especially in beverages.
• Ability to learn state and federal liquor laws and apply them.
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals and profitability.

Responsabilités

• Call on existing accounts within the area to grow distribution and market share.
• Identify new retail opportunities to increase volume and distribution.
• Ensure proper merchandising and POS materials align with brand standards.
• Conduct staff trainings and beer tastings as needed.
• Coordinate events and promotions to boost brand awareness and sales.
• Submit reports on the assigned area to management and wholesalers.
• Operate within budgetary guidelines and company processes.
