Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or any combination of education and/or experience to achieve required knowledge and abilities
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2 years B2B sales experience preferred
• Previous sales in alcohol beverage industry preferred
• Ability to learn/apply knowledge of state/federal liquor laws
• Proven track record of meeting business plan goals (volume, distribution, profitability)
• Strong organization/time management skills
• In-depth knowledge of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.’s history, culture and product
• Ability to interface with multiple management levels (retail/wholesale)
• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Excellent sales skills
• Self-motivated with limited direction; able to work independently or in a team
• Driver's license with clean driving record in last 3 years
• Candidates must reside in San Francisco, CA or San Mateo, CA

Responsibilities

• Call on existing accounts to obtain new distribution and promote activity
• Identify and solicit new business and retail opportunities to grow volume and distribution
• Ensure proper merchandising of products and POS materials
• Conduct staff trainings, beer tastings and events
• Secure displays and manage beer placement for on/off-premise
• Provide exceptional service to assigned accounts
• Operate within budgetary guidelines
• Submit reports on area and market information
• Coordinate events/promotions to raise brand awareness and sales
• Execute monthly National Account opportunities
