Job summary

Liberty Bank is seeking a Sr. Advisor, Community Outreach Officer, to lead CRA compliance initiatives and external outreach with LMI communities, governments, and nonprofits.

You will design and coordinate service-based programs aligned with CRA goals and regulatory exams. The role involves building partnerships with non-profits and local leaders, hosting education workshops, and representing the bank in community activities, with an emphasis on financial literacy and affordable housing

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of CRA regulations, HMDA compliance, LMI needs, and exam methodologies.
• Familiarity with LIHTC, community development financing, and SBA loan structures.
• Excellent written, visual, and verbal storytelling to translate regulatory data into impact narratives.
• Ability to navigate political and socioeconomic sensitivities to build consensus among civic, corporate, and public agendas.
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Strong public speaking, relationship-building, outreach, and project management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years in banking compliance or community development; CCRAP/CRCM certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build active networks with non-profits, CDFIs, and local leaders to satisfy the Bank’s CRA Service performance.
• Plan and host CRAA eligible community outreach activities and financial education workshops.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and LOB partners to promote programs for LMI communities and small businesses.
• Represent Liberty in the community through board memberships, speaking engagements, podcasts, and events focused on affordable housing and financial wellness.
• Project management and maintenance of community development programs.
