Job summary

Sarasota County is seeking an IT Professional I to support end-user computing and courtroom technology. The role focuses on deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting PCs, mobiles, printers, and peripherals while delivering timely Help Desk support.

You will document cases, maintain software, assist with onboarding/offboarding, and collaborate with county IT to keep court operations running smoothly. Monday–Friday schedule with on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Progressively responsible experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, cell phones, printers, and peripherals.
• Provide end-user technical support via Help Desk (in person, phone, email).
• Document diagnostics and resolutions in the knowledge base and ticketing system.
• Install and update software including Microsoft 365 and internal court apps.
• Lead onboarding/offboarding and manage hardware/software provisioning.
