Job summary

The United States District Court - Middle District of Florida is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide help desk support for users, manage computer systems, networks, and software applications used across the court. You will assist with Microsoft 365, device management, and courtroom AV equipment, ensuring reliable operations and high-quality user service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible IT experience.
• Experience supporting IT hardware/software in a user-based environment.
• Certifications such as Microsoft 365, CompTIA A+, or Network+ are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide help desk and technical support for IT equipment, systems, and users.
• Monitor and maintain day-to-day IT operations, ensuring system reliability.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and OneNote.
• Maintain and support courtroom audio-visual equipment and evidence presentation systems.
• Collaborate with IT staff across divisions to standardize systems and practices.
• Maintain documentation for user guides, systems, and applications.
