Job summary

MSI is seeking a Sales Representative (Countertop) to grow sales and margins for countertop products with fabricators and K&Bs in Port Saint Lucie, FL. The role emphasizes relationship-building, product knowledge, and competitive positioning within an assigned territory.

The Associate-level, full-time position requires 2+ years in channel distribution and outside B2B sales, plus a bachelor’s degree. Expect travel 40–75% with strong negotiation and communication skills to drive targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Two (2) plus years’ experience in channel distribution sales.
• Minimum of 2 years of outside B2B sales experience.
• Strong math skills—calculate discounts, commissions, percentages.
• Ability to determine solutions for customers.
• Must be results-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to travel up to 75% of the time; countertop/building materials experience preferred.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Good communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with current and potential customers within the territory.
• Provide product knowledge and training to store personnel for effective presentation and negotiation.
• Understand products, market competition, and positioning strategies.
• Manage displays, samples, and selling tools for customer access.
• Advise dealers on pricing, advertising, promotions, and ROI.
• Quote prices, discuss terms, and prepare sales contracts.
• Estimate delivery dates based on schedules.
• Review sales reports to identify opportunities with customers.
