Job summary

Heritage Pool Supply - Grand Rapids is hiring a Counter Sales professional to be a key customer touchpoint at our Grand Rapids location. You will handle order entry, help customers with product selections, and support delivery coordination while maintaining inventory accuracy.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multitasking, and a collaborative approach with warehouse and sales teams to ensure fast, accurate service and a positive customer experience at the counter.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
• Experience with POS systems and order entry.
• Clear, courteous communication in person, phone, and email.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in warehouse environments.
• Willing to work overtime during peak season.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the sales counter via phone, email, and in person.
• Process and manage customer transactions accurately at the sales counter.
• Recommend products and price information to meet customer needs.
• Create sales orders and quotes using measurements.
• Coordinate and schedule truck deliveries.
• Participate in inventory counts, picking, replenishment, and shipping/receiving.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
