Heritage Landscape Supply Group, Inc. is seeking a Counter Sales professional in Grand Rapids, MI. This on-site, full-time role emphasizes accurate order entry, exceptional customer service, and coordination of deliveries.

You will handle in-person, phone, and email interactions, generate quotes, and support inventory and logistics to ensure timely project completion. Prior sales or POS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in customer service or sales.
• Proficiency with basic computer operations and internet navigation.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and order entry.
• Clear, courteous communication in person, by phone and email.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in warehouse environments.
• Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person consultations.
• Process and manage transactions at the sales counter with accurate order entry.
• Recommend products, provide pricing, and tailor solutions to customer needs.
• Create detailed sales orders and quotes from customer measurements.
• Coordinate truck deliveries and manage logistics for timely fulfillment.
• Assist inventory through cycle counts, picking, staging, and shipping/receiving.
• Collaborate with team to address customer needs and special orders.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety standards.
• Work with warehouse and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
