Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Colorado Springs is seeking a COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT. The role requires NBCOT certification on hire, active state licensure, and CPR certification, with preference for 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

NBCOT certification upon hire; renewal optional
Graduate of an accredited OT program (ASOT)
Currently registered/licensed in the applicable state; active license in good standing
One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; CPR must remain current

Responsibilities

Follow occupational treatment plans under the supervision of the OT
Chart appropriately and timely
Utilize therapy software appropriately
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients
Assist in evacuation of patients
Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team
Read, write, speak, and understand English
