Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a COTA to provide direct occupational therapy assistant services under supervision of an OT. You will follow treatment plans, document progress, and support patient goals within a post-acute care setting.

Qualifications include NBCOT certification at hire, ASOT degree, active state license, and CPR. Experience preferred though new grads are welcome. Proficiency in Word/Excel and good communication are required.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification required upon hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
• Active state license in good standing required; CPR certification on hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans under the supervising OT.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in evacuation of patients; maintain attendance and reliability.
• Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
