Life Care Centers of America is seeking a COTA to provide direct rehabilitation care under the supervision of an OT. You will implement treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold NBCOT certification, state licensure, and a relevant OT degree; CPR is required on hire. New grads are welcome, with opportunities in post-acute care settings and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certified upon hire; renewal is optional going forward.
• Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT).
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; must maintain active license in good standing.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsabilités

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
• Liaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc., to adequately plan for patient needs.
• Demonstrate good body mechanics at all times.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Knowledgeable of practices and procedures and governing laws and guidelines.
• Implement and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Perform proficiently in competency areas including patient rights and safety.
