Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide direct rehab care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The role requires NBCOT certification, an active state license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification on hire; renewal optional thereafter.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT).
• Active state license in good standing required.
• 1 year of experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification obtained on hire or during orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Follow established occupational treatment plans under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Maintain patient charts accurately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in emergency evacuations and maintain safety.
• Demonstrate dependable attendance and professional conduct.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan for patient needs.
• Adhere to policies, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English as required.
