Job summary

WPS Health Solutions seeks a Senior Business Systems Administrator to lead Costpoint and related finance technology, ensuring secure, stable performance across finance applications and integrations.

You will drive complex configuration, data integration, and advanced troubleshooting while maintaining business analysis responsibilities to align enhancements with operational needs. Collaboration with Finance, IT, and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five+ years supporting financial systems or ERP platforms with system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and business-analysis activities.
• Advanced Costpoint system administration, including module configuration, data structures, security management, and cross-module dependencies.
• Strong business and systems analysis skills to translate needs into technical configurations and enhancements.
• Proven ability to design and implement system-based solutions for budgeting, forecasting, audit readiness, compliance, and financial close.
• Experience developing, validating, and interpreting complex reports and data models; proficient with Cognos or similar BI tools.
• Deep understanding of ERP architectures, integrations, and API-based data exchange; knowledge of downstream impacts of configuration changes.
• Hands-on experience with middleware, ETL pipelines, automation platforms, and integration error handling.
• Progressive experience troubleshooting complex system issues and performing root-cause analysis.
• Strong communication and collaboration to guide stakeholders and support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead system administrator and technical owner of Costpoint, Time & Expense, Cognos, and related finance tools, providing expert configuration and troubleshooting.
• Lead technical and functional analysis, translate business needs into functional/configuration requirements, design scalable solutions.
• Manage integrations and data flows, including API connections, middleware, and ETL jobs with error handling.
• Identify and resolve advanced system issues, data structure anomalies, and cross-module impacts.
• Develop and validate complex reports and data models for operational and leadership reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation to standardize workflows and enhance reliability.
• Mentor junior administrators, document standards, and ensure quality in testing and design.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation for audit readiness and governance.
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies with well-defined technical stories and dependencies.
