Job summary

Acuity - PT&C, LLC is seeking a Staff Cost Consultant to perform cost estimating, analysis and control activities, leading project teams and maintaining schedules. The role focuses on cost data preparation, reporting and supporting project negotiations.

The candidate must be a US citizen with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 5–10 years of relevant experience; Certified Cost Professional preferred. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• US citizen requirement for employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant cost/controls experience.
• Certified Cost Professional preferred; must obtain within 1 year.
• Knowledge of cost recording, reporting and analysis standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost recording, reporting and analysis standards.
• Prepare cost data for projects, proposals and negotiations.
• Assist with scope change management.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and apply unit rates to estimates.
• Prepare budgets and coordinate cost reports.
• Collect and classify cost engineering data; perform data analysis.
