Acuity - PT&C, LLC is seeking a Staff Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities on projects. The role focuses on maintaining schedules, producing cost data for proposals and contracts, and guiding assigned staff under project leadership.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, 5–10 years of experience, and a certification such as AACE.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a US Citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Certified Cost Professional (AACE) preferred; certification to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Knowledge in capital cost and services cost.
• Knowledge of scope change management.
• Proficiency in multiple discipline software applications.

Responsibilities

• Develops cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports.
• Prepares cost data for projects, proposals and contract negotiations.
• Assist with scope change management.
• Coordinate data with Engineering and other sources to conform to the estimate plan.
• Develops quantity takeoffs and applies unit rates to quantities.
• Prepare budgets and cost reports.
• Collects and classifies cost engineering data.
• Performs data analysis and development.
• Support project managers and leaders as directed.
