Job summary

Acuity - PT&C, LLC is seeking a Staff Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities on major projects. You will develop budgets, prepare cost data for proposals and contracts, and coordinate cost reporting with project managers.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, 5–10 years of cost engineering experience, and US citizenship. Certification as a Certified Cost Professional is preferred and must be obtained within one year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Certified Cost Professional preferred; must obtain within one year of employment.
• Knowledge of cost recording, reporting, analysis, and project controls.
• Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement requirements for cost recording, reporting, and analysis.
• Prepare cost data for projects, proposals and contract negotiations.
• Assist with scope change management and data coordination with engineering teams.
• Develop quantity takeoffs, apply unit rates, and support budgets.
• Prepare and coordinate cost reports and collect cost engineering data.
• Perform data analysis and provide innovative cost solutions.
