Job summary

L&R Distributors is seeking a Field Merchandiser to ensure products are stocked, organized, and displayed across assigned retailers. You will support store resets by implementing new planograms, relocating products, and ensuring displays meet standards.

The role covers Franklin, Bloomington, Shelbyville, Rushville, and Columbus, IN with hours up to 25 per week. You will use a tablet and scanner with Repsly to place orders, service routes, and verify stock levels.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and registered vehicle.
• Clean driving record (3 or fewer violations in 36 months).

Responsibilities

• Place orders for required inventory according to store guidelines using a tablet and scanner with Repsly.
• Service store routes according to call frequencies with the District Manager.
• Execute store visit process: merchandising, stock verification, photos, and task forms.
• Implement planograms and resets to align displays with instructions.
• Ensure resets meet company standards and timelines.
• Install shelves, hooks, and fixtures per planogram; manage returns per policy.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, invoicing, and returns.
• Communicate with Store Management and Associates after each visit.
• Keep display cases clean and organized; conduct surveys and audits as needed.
• Support additional stores as business needs arise.
