Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a Channel Cortex Domain Consultant to bridge advanced technical domain expertise with partner enablement for our Cortex portfolio, a next-gen AI-powered security operations platform.

You will act as the primary technical SME and trusted advisor for key focus partners, deliver training, enablement materials, and architectural guidance to help partners position, architect, and deploy Cortex solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of pre-sales or solution consulting in security operations.
• Proven channel sales experience with national partners or SI distributors.
• Strong knowledge of SOC workflows, threat hunting, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical SME and trusted advisor for key focus partners.
• Collaborate with channel sales peers to develop joint business plans and identify growth opportunities for partner-led Cortex expansion.
• Plan, build, and deliver high-impact technical training, workshops, and webinars to ensure partner teams become proficient in Cortex architectures and deployment best practices.
• Establish deep technical relationships and trust with partner engineering teams so they lead and recommend Palo Alto Networks’ solutions.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance, enablement materials, and architectural guidance to activate partner teams to win opportunities.
• Act as a feedback conduit between key focus partners and internal teams to shape product roadmaps based on partner insights.
• Keep partners updated on product roadmaps and cybersecurity trends.
• Maintain accurate records of partner engagements, enablement milestones, and pipeline impact.
