Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced Cook Supervisor to join our Corrections team in Cheyenne, WY. In this role, you will coordinate and supervise the work of staff to ensure efficiency and adherence to standards in a fast-paced setting.

You will train team members on food service and sanitation, ensure timely meal service, maintain high quality in portions and presentation, and oversee a high-volume kitchen operation in a correctional facility.

Qualifications

• At least one year of prior culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team and providing friendly, helpful customer service.
• Food Handlers certification is a plus.
